Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some frequently asked questions and answers feel free to contact us should you require any further information:

Should I use a bank or a bureau?

Using a debit order bureau provides numerous benefits over a bank:

Not every bank provides a debit order service – and it’s often difficult to get advice on how to get started as well as the costs involved.

Setting up can take forever, with the lack of communication and poor support leading to huge delays.

If your business hasn’t been established for long and has a sales turnover of less than R1 million, they may not even consider your application not to mention the security deposits involved.

How long do you retain funds for before paying out?

The retention of funds is dependent on your risk profile as well as the security you are able to provide.

Should you provide adequate security your funds will be released on the first business day after your debit run or in the case of NAEDO, on the next business day after your last day of tracking.

How are securities handled?

We usually require a security deposit of 10-20% the total billing run in a single month.

Securities are negotiated on an individual basis and we do have options for businesses who are unable to provide any form of security.
